CCTV and Access Control Systems Case Studies

Translink, Central Station

Given the requirement under the contract, a fully integrated CCTV system using state of the art CCTV equipment was designed to meet the demanding client's specification. Because of the nature of the project and the high usage of the public building, it was imperative that high equipment specification was used throughout and providing the client with as much flexibility of features as possible. By using digital technology throughout and integrating the system with the client's LAN network, all operational requirements were fully met.

Fujitsu

Using a modular system design, the Access system for the Lanyon Place building allowed for future system expansion and also allowed connection of the building tenants such as Fujitsu and Northbrook Laboratories access systems to be incorporated in with the overall access system.

This system uses multiple PC's providing a fully functional multi-tenant working thus giving a tailored solution for both landlord and its tenants.

MGA were also responsible for the implementation of the Sound Reinforcement system for this building.

North Down Borough Council

For the most part, a large number of external CCTV dome cameras, selected to blend with the client's external decor were linked to remote
central equipment rack using a high quality external graded data structured cabling network.

This network was fully integrated with the client's LAN network to provide flexibility of video display and control throughout. The system design was also selected to allow for other remote sites to be integrated in with this system.

Erne Hospital

To-day hospitals now require the help and assistance from a modern CCTV system. MGA was proud to be associated with such an important project to provide the Trust with a mechanism to enhance an already secure environment of the public in need of the services provided at the Erne Hospital. This system provides for full digital recording of all internal and external cameras and allows the Trust to retrieve this information at the touch of a button.
